I fell in love with decorating cakes over 13 years ago. I started out taking some Wilton classes and never looked back. I baked and decorated whenever I had a chance. Then I had the opportunity to work with the baker who made my wedding cake! That was an amazing learning experience. After I had my first child, I chose to stay at home but continued to bake. Over the years, Cakes by Lydia has become my own fun little side hustle. Obviously cookies made their way in as time went on. Now I’m not sure which I enjoy more!
